Feng Yun Winter Go Workshop

Our winter workshop will be held between the Christmas and New Year holidays at the Madison Suites Hotel in Somerset, New Jersey. This workshop will comprise a combination of lectures, practice, game reviews, and problem solving, with additional time for fun games and self study. Students will be grouped according to their level and experience, and everyone will receive appropriate instruction for their individual needs. This workshop is suitable for go players of all ages.

The daily schedule is as follows.

On the first day (Sunday) students should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to complete registration. The workshop starts at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 9:00 p.m. every day, except the last day (Thursday) when all students should expect to leave shortly after 5:00 p.m.

A lunch and dinner package is available for $100; students who decline this package will be responsible for bringing their own food. Light snacks will be provided in the classroom. The hotel provides breakfast but only for hotel guests staying overnight.

The Madison Suites Hotel offers a special rate of $50 per room per night including taxes. (If two students share a room, then the shared cost would be $25 each.) Students who want to stay in the hotel overnight should make their own room reservation and pay the hotel directly; please mention the "Feng Yun Go Workshop" when you call the hotel. Workshop staff will be in the hotel at all times in case students need assistance.

The deadline for receiving your check is December 17 to avoid a late registration fee. Also, before the workshop begins, you must complete a medical release form.
